New developments coming this summer

I've only had the chance to test out the pants so far on an Aoudad/Hog hunt.

Love the stretch and fit. Very comfortable but I'm starting to see pulls like other people from walking through the brush.

I'll have 10-15 days in Colorado soon to test the mid layer and the pants some more.

I wanted to follow up after some more field time. Archery elk, mostly in burned timber (read: far less deadfall gymnastics than normal). My overall feedback is the performance, weight and fit (I’d also throw colors in there, and pricing) is leading, while durability is so so. I’ll take those tradeoffs, personally.

Midlayer: the hood is one of the best I’ve ever had. Durability is similar to Sitka ambient face fabric - rubbing from chest rig will pill. Not a shocker. Seems best to just rub SS baselayer under it, LS is tough.

Pants: given their use and performance I the think the durability is acceptable. They move so well with you that you hardly feel any resistance in use. Fit/features are simple and dialed. Have not had to pull them up or adjust them once under a pack belt. They are quite thin and wind loved through them easily - a baselayer will extend them into mid season, but late season likely not? My only negative is the fabric shows wear both inside and outside. That said, interestingly I got stabbed in the knee while moving through timber and the pants held, impressively. There’s a start of a hole but I expected a full on tear. So while they may “wear” and pull/pill easy, they aren’t fragile either.

Inside of legs against boots (not a big deal to me given they are an ultralight pant -but not as tough as “typical” hunting pants like a kuiu attack are)

I ordered 2 different sizes of the fleece that will be coming hopefully next week. Based on others, I'm worried the return/exchange will be a pain.

@Brigham @ Outdoor Vitals

It would be great if you guys would respond to the complaints about the lack of customer service. I'm unlikely to order anything else from Outdoor Vitals until you address this issue and it's rectified.
Plus one to this, my return will be on the 12th working day since you received it tomorrow.
Was planning to order the puffy but that is not happening anymore.

It looks likes Brigham hasn’t responded to this post since the complaints about customer service and durability isssues have started. I too am worried about the quality of product I ordered. I have several Exo packs and their products and customer service has always been top notch. It’s hard to believe they would align themselves with Outdoor Vitals with all the complaints lately

I’m in a similar boat. Got an email on the 12th they received my pants that were too small. Was hoping to get an exchange for a bigger size or credit towards the puffy that drops tomorrow/ships in November.
Now I’m leaning towards sticking with my Kutanas(beyond durable) and holding out a while on the puffy to see how it goes…

I had a couple returns. I never received a confirmation email saying they received them. Had to go through a process to even get a response saying they in fact did receive the items (I think it was human). I think I’m between 15-20 days waiting now.

I won’t be buying anymore.

Even if they are gone hunting the business still has to operate. And it sure would be nice to have a phone number to call to talk to a human.

They might be hunting? It is September
This is very true and I hope they are, but you can outsource customer service help, hire extra interns, hire contracted labor, etc etc to make up the timing gap, or even just state on the website or in email form that everything will be delayed for hunting season (I would be a ok with that).

(435) 572-0787 is the number I found under the contact page otherwise [email protected] was the email I sent a message to when the coupon code didn't work for me. Hopefully you get a resolution because I will be having to make a return or exchange myself.

I called their number and it said they are not accepting calls. To leave a message or email them. Unless I misunderstood it.
