Anyone heard of anyone using or put their hands on the clothing line "hunting by game gear", seen their ads floating around on the interweb

Another new company that looks interesting is SKRE Extreme Mountain Gear. I have not seen it in person though. They are also based in Utah. Seems like a lot of new hunting clothing companies popping up.

Haven't heard of the HBGG line. I saw the SKREE line at Western Expo. They have a good basic line of poly and are hoping to expand into Merino. That was in February. I invited them to Rokslide and said we'd try anything they'd send. Hope to hear from them.

I must have missed them at the expo. That's what I get for bringing the wife and kids with me I guess! I am surprised they wouldn't jump at the chance to get on Rokslide and get gear in the hands of the staff for review. That's got to be one of the better ways to get your name out there.

I have a set of their stuff from the 2014 expo the clothing fits me very well and has held up great for all the hunting I do. Problem I have being 6' 5" clothing is always to short, they added 4 inches onto the pants for me free of charge, nobody else will! I guide part time in Nevada and idaho and have wore the heck out of this clothing and I'm telling you it holds up great!

SKRE Extreme Mountain Gear, Pnuma, and Game gear are all trying to bust into the clothing line, but i wonder how serious they really are when none of these manufactures offer rain gear? Thats one of the first thing i look at is there type of rain gear they have. Most company's just find a jacket they like and have that company copy with there camo and label and they are good to go. A company that is on the edge and trying to develop there own will spend time and money in R/D of a product and will turn out something different. I think they see what a market there is KUIU/SITKA/KYRP, ETC and they want there piece of the pie. Half the time i think they say lets just make some clothes and jack the price up thinking somebody will fall into the you get what you pay for phrase. just my 2c

I am not in the business but i would imagine rain gear is one of the hardest most expensive thing to R&D and make in the clothing business, not to mention having to pay to use a manufactures membrane. No clothing company is developing their own membrane(at least in the hunting world) so no company is going to be on the cutting edge of that sector of the market. Putting your own spin on poly pants or shirts is a good way to break in, especially if they offer something different than what is available currently.

Columbia does but unfortunately they haven't figured out thier hunting line other then waterfowl. Love to see outdry extreme come to thier hunting line. Spent 12 hours fishing in the pouring rain and it never wetted out, they don't even offer hunting friendly colors. Wish their hunting R&D would get the butts in high gear. Suxs having a great product that doesn't transpose into hunting very well because someone thinks teal and yellow are cool colors.
