New bow? What to gain?

I bought my last new flagship bow in 2007 which coincided with a longer period of not having time to archery hunt or shoot, and every since around 2014 I said, "it doesn't really seem like anything is changing THAT much."

Fast forward to this year and deciding to go all in on a great archery tag, I went out and shot everything I could get my hands on. Much like compound interest, all those little improvements build up over time, and yeah, things are so much better. I couldn't feel 100%, or even a 10% performance advantage, with the Hoyt RX versus everything to justify the cost so I'm happy with a new Mathews.
