I’m curious how the OP ends up. The wilderness Ridge and veil both seem great.

Is 6.5prc enough above 308 to warrant having both other than for collecting purposes? Or do they pretty much occupy the same space besides shooting at range?

I own two Tikka's and a Bergara Premier. I did a lot of research and most of what I read about CA rifles is you either get one that shoots incredibly well or you get very well versed in warranty claims with them. I don't want to have a dud I have to keep sending in for warranty work. I'd vote Tikka amongst the ones youre looking at. They are solid, accurate, and ready to go out of the box. They're easy to upgrade to suit what you like and have tons of aftermarket support.

Seekins Precision Havak PH2 in Urban Shadow. When you see this gun in person it's stunning!

I bought a used Seekins that was not in the condition advertised. Rather than try to get my money back, I took it to Seekins, and now have basically a brand new rifle. Absolutely unmatched customer service and warranty!

The 6.5 PRC blows away the 308 Win from a ballistics perspective.

Here's a comparison using commercial Precision Hunter.

Wow! More of a hammer on big game too?
Absolutely, for the most part (depending on the load) it has better SD, more velocity and more energy. It'll punch deep and deliver a lot of trauma. It's a really great round for hunting big game, especially if you choose a bullet wisely. Something like a 137 grain Hammer Hunter would kill anything in north america.

If you want to keep Bergara in the running, take a look at the CVA Cascade in 6.5 PRC. It is supposedly made in Bergara's factory and uses Bergara barrels with a MOA guarantee. I picked mine up today. I paid $530 on sale, plus tax, but they usually run around $600 for Cerakoted models at Sportsman's Warehouse.
