Yes all the time. It’s time for a new set of irons (golf) for 2026. I’m set on rifles for now.

I am talking myself out of another rifle as I type this. I have a Swfa 3-9 that needs a home and I don’t know if I feel like ripping off my 6x just to put it on.
This is where I'm at. Two young kids. I'm far more concerned with burning out current barrels than a shiny new rifle. When I had kids I went into the most broke ass, bare necessities buying mode that my brain could possibly shift into and I’ve not been able to get out of it. If I don’t shoot a rifle weekly and really enjoy it I sell it…. It’s a problem. I have a very hard time talking myself into buying new rifles
The “Dad guilt” is a very real thing… hence my worn out work clothes and boots too… but my kids will have cool shit and experiencesThis is where I'm at. Two young kids. I'm far more concerned with burning out current barrels than a shiny new rifle.
I never understand this, a 20” 6.5 PRC is pushing the bullet faster than a 20” 6.5 Creedmoor could. Seems like a 20” PRC is compared to 24” Creedmoor velocities all the time but that’s not an accurate comparison. I want a 20” barrel to put a suppressor on it and maintain an overall length and a velocity loss is made up by using the PRC.Thought about a 6.5 PRC, but with the 20” barrel it’s basically the Creedmoor with more recoil.

Just filled another good sized safe with guns that had been sitting in the wild. Still have more in the wild . Really looking at getting a 6 Creedmoor. Absolutely don't need it but that's never been an excuse that worked. Really trying to figure out whether to wait for Tikka to come out with one or do something different. I'm not going to talk you out of anything. If you want it, get it.
