I haven’t read much on these. Does anyone have any experience with Burris revamp of the Fullfield? Looks like it’s only been out for a short amount of time (a few months). Specs seems okay. Short bodies and iffy eye relief, but do they hold zero? Thank you. Considering a 3-12 for a 30-06 set and forget. Scope won’t be dialed.

So far so good with a 2-10. I like the target reticle, glass is fine, mounting is a pain with short tube length and the 40mm is actually 52mm (go up in mount heights). Worth the $ if you can get it to fit on your rifle.

I was interested in Burris Signature HD 2-10x40 (#200530) or maybe the Fullfield 3-12x42 (#201533). I’m not sure how the glass compares between the two, but if it was about equal then I may consider saving a bit more for the Fullfield 2.5-10x42 (201512).

Anyone happen to know how the glass compares?

My intention is to find a hunting scope to shoot out to 400 yds with a simple reticle, like the idea of adjustable elevation turret, prefer fixed parallax (because it’s one less thing to worry about while hunting), and decent enough glass for low light conditions.

I’m thinking the 10x or 12x is enough. Open to suggestions as well.

I have 2 of the 2-8×35 and they seem solid so far. I put them on cva scouts. One in 350l and one in 6.5 cm. The glass is optically very good and so far the turrets have been spot on.

I can’t help with a glass comparison between those two. I do have an old FFII 3-9 and the glass is certainly good enough. If comparing to an SWFA 6x or Trijicon Credo 3-9 I would have to repeatedly look through them side by side to discern a meaningful difference. The FFII might come third in that comparison, but it’s close and certainly not preventing any shots.
