Skindaddy, If I'm packing in during cold weather, a stove is an exceptionally important option to me, at 53. When I was young, going without heat wasn't a big deal. Now, in cold weather I consider it a necessity. As such, if I were looking for a shelter I would be using in cold weather, I'd be looking at one of the ultra light tipi's. For 4 people, I would be looking at at least what they call an 8 man tipi, so you have room for the stove and some gear. They are floor-less, but you do have options if you want a separate floor. If having heat is not a necessity, you have plenty of options, but I am pretty sure you can do the tipi thing with a stove, and keep the weight below that of a traditional 4 season tent of comparable floor space.
