Need Help Deciding Between Silk 634 and Silk 633

Biggest concern with the 633 is the column getting in the way when in a seated position. Not sure if it will interfere if it is in the down position or if this will be the same on the 643.
Is one model preferred over the other?

You should be able to unthread the center column, I did it this weekend with the 843 while glassing seated.

Both will interfere with sitting to some extent, unless fully extended.

I like fewer sections. They seem more stable. You can always cut the center to fit your style.

The Slik CF634
Center column is removable, which allows the tripod to be set at a minimum height of 3.5"

Slik CF-633
Center column is removable, which allows the tripod to be set at a minimum height of 4.9"
