Need help 300blk subsonic lilgun powder

my question is with hodgdon "lil gun" powder whats the safest way to achieve 900 to 950 fps with 150 to 170gr bullets out of my ruger ar556 10.5inch barrel 300blk ar. Main concern is what size of charge will be to LITTLE of a charge to be dangerous,can I use say less than 6gr with a 150gr bullet or will I half to use a filler using hodgdon lil gun powder, really don't want to use a filler please help. The main reason for using lil gun because that's all I can find in my area do to the scamdemic. All help highly appreciated!

There's better choices available at Midsouth in IMR4198, CFE BLK, SW Blackout, and 1680. 1680 is known to run easily but is pretty dirty. I use N120.

Why are you using 150-170 grain bullets for subs vs 200+?

He’s got a good point, heavier bullets might be the ticket. Bad news if you get a squib.

King’s has cheap PC bullets that do well in my BO. Price has gone up but still better than other stuff. I use 296 and 1680 for subsonic. You have to flare the case so you don’t shave the bullets but they’re quiet and accurate for plinking. Good luck!

You need heavier bullets for subs in a blackout.
I wouldnt even consider anything less than 180gr
Fillers, just dont dont it.
Less than 8.3 grains for any bullet would be bad news.
Plus you’ll have bad cycling issues even with pistol length gas.
Stick with supersonic loads if your gonna do 150/170s.
Trust me its safer and not worth all the headache.
