Need a scope recommendation

Picked up a 6.5 PRC and mounted a Vortex Viper 6.5-20x44 on it. I hate the scope because it has no eye relief at 6.5x and gets worse quickly.
I’m looking for a scope recommendation that doesn’t break the bank but has good eye relief.

Best eye relief I have seen is with Eotech vudu scopes .. not sure if they fit into your budget range but they’re great quality and have plenty of options to meet your specific needs

Debatable. Some models of trijicon have terrible eye relief, like the 1-4 credo hx. Others are fine.

Depending on what your budget is, you should look at swfa, trijicon, nightforce, or s&b. Potentially a Bushnell lrhs or lrts if you can find one.

Not sure what your budget is, but it is worth spending a little more to get better glass. I'd probably consider something like a Leupold VX3 or VX5. If you're willing to save up some more, Nightforce would be an excellent choice. I'm not super familiar with all of the Vortex Viper line, but maybe even try a different magnification range

You can get a lot more for your money by going with straight or lower X scope. I have a number of SWFA straight powers that have been fantastic, and I paid $200 for some of them; can't say as though I've ever really had a better value in just about anything. Likewise with their 3x9 and 3-15 scopes. Tough as nails and priced right. Can't ask for much more.

Look at the Demos on Europtics and Red Hawk Rifle. You might be able to get a better scope than you think at your budget.

You can find the Zeiss Conquest 4-16x44 for around 7-800 on sale. Super clear optics, Track perfect and great eye relief. I’ve learned with optics to but incredibly cry once.
