My wife and I each use the Thermarest Mondoking. She will actually backpackpack it into forest service cabins because she loves it so much. It's the best sleep I've had in the backcountry, and I'm always figuring out a way to make it fit due to weight/size restrictions of aircraft or machines. 100% recommend.

If you're sleeping on a cot, R rating less of a deal. If you are truck camping, then weight of your system doesn't really matter either. So would just go try some cots and see what fits you, and your sleeping style

Simmons Beauty Sleep. I have a ton of mattresses and pads and this one is the best of them all. It's huge but it does roll up and wife makes fun of my princess mattress but I sleep great. I bought it in 2017 and it's still going strong. It works equally well on the ground or on a big cot..

Plug for Camp Time Roll O Cot. Spent a week in September sleeping in the back of my F250. This cot design has no center leg design so it fits over the wheel well allowing the use of 2 in the bed if needed. Had a 3 inch memory foam pad on the cot and slept like at home. Cot folds up in a bag about 3’x8”x6” when not in use. Set up is quick as is takedown. Can store bags and boxes under it, nice to get up and be able to sit on the cot rather than rolling out on the floor. Bought a queen size 3” memory foam mattress topper off amazon, cut in half and made a cover out of an old sheet. Also used the pad to sleep on the deck of the boat when doing overnight offshore tuna trips, better sleep than a beanbag.
