Need a bino window mount

What is everyone using for a window mount? Was thinking about the outdoorsmans since I'm getting the micro head, but at $114 that seems really high. Any others I should look at? Won't be using for anything heavier than EL 12x50s.


eta: it looks like I may have to use their adapter because all the others have a head already attached, correct?

I was in the same situation as I have an Outdoorsman pan head. One option is to find a window mount that uses the same adapter plate but I'm not sure of which brands do. I didn't want to constantly remove/install the pan head from my tripod so I purchased the quick release adapter and window mount.

As a general rule the plates are not interchangeable from brand to brand.

I've been using the Manfrotto 243 glass mount with a 700RC. Binos and spotter work fine on it. The 243 glass mount is $35-40.

Guys, thanks for all the suggestions. I think I'll try and source a used unit here first before buying new.
