My second Seekins rifle that has issues

If a barrel won’t shoot don’t waste time and ammo. A good barrel will shoot good right off the bat. To eliminate any bedding issues can you fit the ph3 action and barrel into the hit pro chassis? That would help verify if it’s a bedding issue or a barrel issue.
I will once I get them back. My HIT was a gen2. They are sending me a gen3. They told me that they are throwing in a standard and a magnum bolt head for customer satisfaction. I'll now be able to interchange my ph3 in 6.5prc with my HIT m3 in 6.5cm. Pretty stellar

Hit barrel won't fit in the ph3 stock however

Only rifle i had problems with action coming lose was it wasn’t bedded and the pillars wernt at correct height either. After addressing that it shot sub 1/4” with hand loads, perhaps theres an issue with the stock relation?

Perhaps. I didn't want to bed the rifle. I wanted them both good from the start.

I had a PH3 that would FTF. Not a very reliable rifle.
Did you ever figure out the reason why? I just started experiencing this with factory Hornady 147 gr ELD-Ms. First box of 20 I had 4 failures to fire and one flier that was 650 fps lower on my chronograph. A week later I got a different box of 147s and had 2 in that one. Have shot probably 80 rounds of 143 gr ELD-X without any issues.
