She was nominated for athlete of the week here in our local paper " the Sumter item" Please go on the website and click on "Hines furniture athlete of the week" and vote for her. Her name is Kason Carter. She broke our school record for javelin throw on her very first throw ever at her first ever track meet.

Good on her. My S-I-L high school cross-country records were just broken 2 years ago, after standing for 45 years. It is a medium sized district. At the time didn't realize just how good she was.....but 45 years to break her records. I hope your daughter finds this level of success.
