Was curious to see if you got a break for your 308 superlite and to how the recoil was. I'll probably be getting one but sort of torn between that or a 6.5 or 243
I actually never found one. Recoil on the 308 is manageable. I wanted the brake more so that i could track impacts and tame muzzle jump rather than just to reduce the actual felt recoil. The gun is ridiculously light so without a brake you’re probably better off with something smaller than a .308

Good to hear it. Accuracy wise, can you get around 1 moa fairly consistently?
"around 1 moa" yes... I can always put two shots near touching but the third usually spreads the group. It is a very thin barrel and prone to walking.

Same here. 3 shot group no cool down the third always pulls the group. Let it cool between shots and it’ll group -moa
Ended up going with the 308 superlite, 20 inch barrel version. Got a Oregunsmithing muzzle brake, curious to try that out. Probably will try it out tomorrow. Anyone do Howas break in procedure?

I am biased and think “break-in” is snake oil but none done for mine but it shoots well if you go into it with the “third shot will be a flyer if I don’t cool” mindset 😉
