Multitools

I bought a Leatherman Skeletool for backpacking and hunting, but it's turned into an EDC for me. The knife is just as handy as with a regular knife, plus you have pliers and screwdriver. I bought the bit kits for backpacking and have paired those down to just what I need for my gear.

Like others, I have a few different ones, but the skeletool resides in the pack, since is so compact, and light, and never gets left at home.

I been lugging a leatherman wave along with me for better than 25 years. I think I only used it twice.
These days it lives in my Yeti go box with all the other crap
I thought I needed to carry in my pack. I might have a different experience if I was a back country guy instead of a day hunter who goes back to a camp and my truck every day.

I’m a fan of the leatherman wave. But EVERYONE should have an OG leatherman super tool in their multi tool arsenal.
