MR Yoke modification

I’ve got an older MR guide lite frame and the yoke has always felt long. I’ve adjusted it until it bottoms out, and still feels like it’s riding below my hips. The top still looks like it’s got about 3” before the taper on the shoulder straps. Since I have the older frame, I’m not sure if I could get a shorter yoke

My question: has anyone ever trimmed the lower portion off to allow the yoke to go deeper? If so, any problems?

Any help would be great.

Call MR and ask if they'll sell a smaller yoke. They sold me a spare for my kid's Glacier several years ago, and I think it's the same as yours. $35 if I recall.

If no luck there, and you need a small yoke, PM me. My kid outgrew his. Color is kind of a dark gray.
