I live in Western WA and if I had a full remote job, I'd move further West, specifically on the peninsula.
Squim has approximately the same annual precipitation as LA -- Rainshadow micro climate is real -- and is a very cute small town. Port Townsend has very sunny weather too and is quite likely the prettiest town on the west coast (if you like old redbricks). Phenomenal food -- a million small farmers markets serving produce you won't get better than maybe in some parts of California, oyster farms or just forage your own, salmon everywhere, ... -- surprisingly good and diverse restaurant scene up there too, only approx 1% income tax (WA cares, the biggest grift tax ever invented, and paid family leave which is nice to support), reasonable house prices, and when you want to see the big city, it's not impossible far and airport is also reachable.
