Moving to Idaho or Colorado

I'm planning on relocating to either Idaho or Colorado with family and kids to start a new hunting journey there. I have once hunted elk with colleagues in ID few years back but been reading a lot about CO as well. Please any advice will be greatly appreciated

Colorado. Idaho is too cold and far north. Colorado has over twice as many elk.

Colorado has way more murderers.

More than twice as many per 100,000 person. So if that's your thing, move to Colorado. If it's not your thing, Idaho.
