I had an unusual experience tonight- i stopped by the Cabelas in Dundee,MI and strolled into the gun library. I usually give it a quick once over to see if there are any interesting "premium" rifles.
Tonight i was able to compare side by side a kimber mountain ascent, a fierce, a christensn ridgeline, and a legendary arms works. It was quite a surprise to see that selection in the store all at the same time. I have to say, I really liked the ridgeline and the LAW.I don't need a rifle, but it would sure be hard to pass any one of them up ( if cabelas was remotely competitive).
In the case of the Ridgeline and LAW, have they run their course with questionable quality? Has LAW gotten squared away? It seems like there were a fair amount of accuracy issues/ complaints. It seems like kimber worked through their issues with Montanas, and there isn't much to be found about fierce, i'd like to know if the other two still have any issues.

First mistake stay out of gun stores!! ;)
I have 2 LAW's serial #'s 3xx and 16xx 28 Nos and 280 AI both shoot excellent. Both have Swaro Z5's in seekins rings.
Very smooth actions a lot of features for the money.
My next gun is going to be a Ridgeline- I handled one in a gun store a couple months ago so this is my next last gun...

Every product has lemons and the internet has made everyone aware of ALL the ones with problems

I tend to agree with Axlrod here, the LAW has great workmanship and the guys running the company know what they're doing (met and talked with them for a long while at SCI 2016) My son in law decided on one, a 300 Win Mag, it's not as lightweight as the MA but I'll reserve judgement until after I've had a chance to load for it, VERY nicely done rifle though

Just food for thought. LAW no longer makes The Professional. I really liked the look of these but heard mixed reviews. Wonder if I can find one discounted.....

I'm leaning towards the Fierce Fury. Kimber has a blind mag, the Fury has a box mag and the RL has a drop floor plate. That's the only reason the Fury is in the lead. I think I'd be happy with either the Ridgeline or the Fury. The LAW is out of price range since Professional is discontinued

My room mate has one that is a dud, worst bedding job I've ever seen. 2 inch groups at a hundred is the best its been able to get. Its been at the factory for two months and is suppose to be back some time next week. Ill let you guys know if its fixed!

I owned a mountain ascent, I loved the rifle, but it was more capable than me. I found it almost to light for me to shoot accurately with any consistency. Not the guns fault but something to take into consideration. They are sweet rifles for the high country though.
