Moultrie Mobile Edge2 Pro Thread/Pre Review - Optimizing Time Afield

Camera had no activity on for the last week after having deer daily on it. We had some interesting weather and I am wondering if that affected them. Haven’t had any bucks on it lately though. I saw enough at this spot during the rut that I will continue to hunt it next year. I’m going to deploy some more cams this spring up there as well. For now I’m going to let it soak till spring. There is a major lack of snow here right now. On a normal snow year, you would need snowshoes to get here.

One of the coolest things about the cell cams is noticing in real time how the weather affects the deer. I was surprised when these big low pressure systems would come in how activity would just plummet

I just received a Edge 3 Pro.
I'm going to try and run it around the house for a few weeks without activating it.
Excited to try my first cell cam. After reading this thread and hearing @robby denning podcast about them I figured I'd start with this cam.

That's the kind of stuff that I love.
I've put cams in areas where I couldn't even hunt just to get bulls in wallows or elk crossing a lake onto an island.

Had no idea bucks would expend that kind of energy this time of year just to fight. Might still be a doe around that didn't breed during the rut?

Cameras were delivered today, quicker than expected. Estimated delivery was on the 20th so 6 days earlier than expected.

Contents as expected. 2 boxes (I bought two sets) inside a single shipping box. Each package deal contained a 2 pack of Edge cameras and 2 single packs of 6700mAh batteries. Will only be activating one of the cameras for now, don't believe I need to pay for 4 monthly plans this time of year.
