Agree, you definitely have to be “on” at close range regardless of load, some are just going to be a bit more forgiving.

That was first time shooting Apex & you ain’t lying. I’m not recoil sensitive but it’ll definitely punch you pretty good.

Have you patterned TSS with a cylinder choke?

It's a different beast from steel and lead, and the results might be interesting.

No I haven’t. I started with Jeb’s .660 because that’s what the fella I talked to from Jebs recommended for TSS. I’ve thought about putting it up against a factory full choke to see the difference. Just hard to keep blasting at paper with the price of tss

I looked at what they had to offer when you first posted the link and had intended to get back to buy a little but man they’ve sold out on a bunch of the TSS offerings. No Hevi-18 left in 12ga. They had quite a bit when I first looked.
