Has anyone had a issue with the site this morning? Go to pay and got a internal error message? Is the error because they sold of of tags quick?
Many successful people get one?

I drew a Big Game combo but one of the guys at deer camp was not successful in the drawing. I was able to get him a leftover tag this morning. I logged in right at 7:00 (est) and the site was a little laggy but the purchase went through.

I know at least two guys whose screen crashed on the payment screen. Credit card was charged, but no email and not showing the license on the fwp page. Looks like they didn’t get one.

Yeah I know of one that has had the same thing. How can they charge and not give a tag? Seems weird to take the money to just have to return it. If the first come first serve tags are there, it should just close after all tags are gone. They're going to have a busy day in the office with calls today!

I'd like to thank Google Chrome for autofilling most of the fields for me. I feel that enabled an increase in speed.

Won’t work next year, everyone will use google chrome auto fill. Tech creep / App creep is starting to catch up with a lot of guys. You don’t want to give away your technological edge anymore. I don’t even tell people what connection I use when I view maps on a mobile device anymore never mind which app or mobile device I use.

Anyone know if I can return this tag for a 80% refund if I draw my Wyoming tag? If so what's the deadline? I knew I could on the original draw but not sure on this one.

I logged in @ 7 AM and was successful in obtaining a surplus elk tag. However, my two buddies got all the way through and obtained the server error when processing the credit card. (Their credit card account show the purchase)

Charged my card four times (for a total of 4k) and still didn't get one.. Kinda pissed that I woke up in the middle of my sleep cycle, over here in afghan land, only to have them hit my credit card for 4k and still not receive the tag...

Happened to me as well....submitted x 4 with initial error then internal error (separate from initial error) and got charged 4x. Could still select surplus tag in the online purchase until around 10AM CDT - now shows no tag left. Frustrating...

I put my card number in at least 8 times. The tags didn't disappear from the list until at least 5:30. I tried the whole time they were available. Sometimes it would time out, but usually got an error message. Now nobody is even answering their calls. Montana will have one less hunter to worry about in the future.

Seems that was a poor way to conduct business. I understand their system crashing from the demand, but to allow someones credit card to be charged multiple times while not giving them what they attempted to purchase is pretty piss poor. I wander how many hundreds of thousands of dollars they have tied up right now from folks that didn't get the tag.... Oh, and to do all of this three hours before any person is in the office to field phone calls is pretty chicken sxxx

As a matter of fact I did...I talked to an employee at HQ about a different issue today. I was successful today as mentioned earlier and when I told the MT state employee this, he said the whole surplus tag sale was a total &*^% show. System crashed multiple times and the license department phone system was turned off as to not field any calls. I feel bad for all the individuals who got charged and still have no idea if they got a tag or not.
