Quite okay for you to do what you wish.
However, it does not make someone a "koolaid" drinker to have and use a stock that was designed to improve shootibility and has proven time and time again to do so.

What if it is a 223 Tikka with 6x SWFA? You can’t be too sensitive if you are going to push an ugly ass stock. You have to take the crap that comes with it. Lol

It's a stretch to call that a malfunction.

Just don't make one in .338 win mag, lest my resolve be tested beyond its strength.

A person complaining incessantly about the "appearance" of a rifle warning about sensitivity. Ironic.

Perhaps just don't purchase one if you don't want to.

I meant that to be humorous, not critical. Apologies if it seemed to be more the latter. People who use phrases like ‘drinking the koolaid’ have realized they cannot use facts to support their opinions.

Run a bolt on a rifle like you work an HK. Manhandle it and slap that thing around, make the gun do what you want as fast as possible. Cycle with strength and purpose.

Edit: form already responded while I was typing about not getting cute, which was what I really was trying to say.

Another 200+ round day and the first malfunction.

An awkward kneeling position with the rifle rotated counterclockwise while cycling. Was a gentle cycle trying to drop all the brass in a pile and not chase it in the snow- hit windage turret and fell back in.

Repeated the situation for multiple full magazines, and anything resembling a brisk stroke of the bolt launched the cases without issue. Trying to trickle them out with the rifle rotated as in the picture and they sometimes fall back in.
200+ rounds in a single day?!?!? Some folks on here have told me that's inconceivable!

This is how I relieved this issue on a couple Sako 85's that were known for having brass jump back into the gun. Run it like you mean it flat out works. I've had this happen on Tikkas as well when trying to keep brass in the same shaded area so it would be easy to find.

About 800 308win rounds this week- most within a 30min window each day. My little baby shoulder is feeling it. grin.

Oh yeah. This malfunction was just me being dumb.

I was able to see Ian and the MRC guys at the SCI convention. It was nice being able to speak with them as they know their product inside and out and want customer feedback. The same can’t be said for every gun booth.

They had their prototype 375H&H rifle on display and it was stunning. The rifle balanced very well and the fit and finish was absolutely flawless. I am hating myself for forgetting to take photos of it. I will be a buyer on that one when it hits production.

I have not been a fan of their 24” 308 barrel lengths but sounds like those will be getting shortened and more calibers will be coming.

I am very excited for them and hope they continue to grow. A modern stainless CRF rifle with pre64 trigger made by very nice folks checks all the boxes for me.
