Jason , you are making the breaks sound like an amazing place to hunt ! The question isn't if your reasons are good enough or anything. Just if you had a real reason that you had thought about and matched your beliefs and style of hunting.

The reason I hunt is to 1) have fun, 2) spend time with family and/or friends, and 3) make white packages in the freezer. My style of hunting can and does vary. It's not always a backpack hunt, but I'm not averse to using motorized means of access either. I don't like to see other people where I hunt, and I like to have lots of really cool scenery to photograph, and a good chance at killing an animal.

The Elkhorns don't do anything unique for me that other parts of Montana don't, and on a general tag. The breaks is a different experience that is hard to match.
