I just bought the MTNTough 40-70 program a few weeks ago. I saw they launched an app not soon after purchasing the program. Now it looks like the only way to get access to new programs is to buy a subscription (monthly or annually). Is MtnTough no longer allowing customers to buy individual programs?

I was wondering the same thing. I was interested in their kettlebell program but unless I’m missing something, it dosent look like you can just buy the program.

That being said, the APP could really improve the mtn tough stuff, it was annoying as hell to have to log onto the website for workouts.

Apparently you need to login to your account through the old portal. I don't believe it was clearly communicated, if at all, how the transition would work. There is an announcement on the old portal that you'll keep all the programs you purchased already. Just a little weird that they didn't make this obvious on their website. I don't even think there's a link to the old portal anymore.

I think they moved over to subscription only. I understand why they want to do it from a business perspective, but from a consumers perspective it's better to own the product forever for $100 opposed to rent it for $300 per year. I found a few sites still selling codes to own the products. I picked up the 30-30 program from outfittergearlist.com, they sent a code instantly, worked great. Had I had any idea they were moving to subscription only when I purchased the 45-70, I would have seriously considered the hunter all access.

That sucks but i totally get why they did it lol, glad i got the all access beginning of last year and a couple other ones after. I followed the instructions they emailed me and i am able to access my programs i bought through it just the same as the old site. I agree, this is a huge improvement cause logging into the website was very annoying

I get it too, but it sucks that those of us that were early adopters aren’t going to get the same benefits from the app unless we subscribe. I have the post season strength, preseason, spring break, and 30-30 from over the past few years. I paid a good amount for those figuring I would have then forever. Looks like I still do, but I can’t track my progress year over year by commenting. They offered us old folks a discount for the subscription but it doesn’t look like it will last for long.
I haven’t seen any of the “usuals” commenting on the app, makes me wonder if anyone is subscribing.

Like the app idea, don’t like the subscription for those of us who invested in the programs already.

Maybe I misunderstood. Think old lab platform is being decommissioned end of Feb and purchased programs will be avail in new app. Thought you HAD to subscribe to new app to access purchased programs.

The way I read it when I signed up for the total hunter access was that I was purchasing all the content they had put out up to that point. Early December 2021 and previous content. I recently just downloaded the app and used the link they sent me to change my username and password. I can see and access all the programs in the app, except the newest ones that just came out. It was 500 some bucks on the Christmas sale for the total hunter access. I won't be signing up for the new content that's 30 bucks a month.

The monthly subscription is a better business deal for them for sure. Reason I didn't sign up for it in the first place over a year ago was because it was 700 bucks up front.

Scheels where I'm at has all the individual programs heavily discounted. Down to 60 bucks I believe. So still ways to get all those programs.

I think its as MNTC said. You can access all yours you had bought when you register for the app, but the new stuff is of course a new payment. My program I bought works fine on the app

Yes you can see the workouts on the app, you just can’t comment or post anything. So you get the programs, but i guess not the “support” and access to the MTNTOUGH community that was promised. Maybe I will contact them and make sure that it’s set up correctly.

They still are setting up the app with the features and being able to track your workouts. I talked to Dustin a week ago and he said it's a "work in progress"

That sounds good, thanks for commenting. I’ve been somewhat involved in the app development situation before and it’s expensive to build and run apps on all the different platforms and have a support team there to fix glitches every time the platforms update and make changes. I think they probably had to go to subscription to do the things their customers were asking for.
