Opening morning went well for me in Minnesota and this Hog came in about 15 minutes after we started.
North Dakota treated me alright too. This guy was bedded along a fence line about 75 yards away and stood up perfectly as I got ready in a prone position. Shot with my Grandpas .300 H&H that was produced the same month and year my dad was born (10/49). 2nd deer I have shot with this rifle. Just like hunting with it.
Neither are monsters, but I have never been a Trophy Hunter. The rack is just a bonus and I try to hold myself accountable to a 4 points or more per side before I shoot.
