I've always liked reading hunting stories and writing. I keep thinking I might write some articles in the future and maybe a book someday when my body can no longer do the things I love outdoors. I figure even if I don't publish anything maybe my kids and nephews will benefit from reading about my experiences. My family was never big hunters other than a little bird hunting so I learned a lot from reading and trial and error. The grandpa of the guy I hunt with hunted all over the country and used to tell us stories as we used his reloading set-up in his basement. A few neighbors including him are responsible for getting me into hunting as much as I am.
