Mixing camo patterns?

If you're trying to make a fashion statement, improve social standing or get a date, you should match your camo.

If you can get into the woods without anyone seeing you, go ahead and mix and match but if you're going to be seen............... you know the drill. You absolutely have to match.

I wear whatever fits me and I found on the sale table. I try not to wear open country, (light patterns) in the dark woods or dark woods patterns in the desert. Other than that, if it fits well, is quiet, keeps me warm/dry and doesn't hinder my movements, it's good.

How would someone see u if wearing camo 🥸

None of my stuff usually matches. I like the kuiu pants the best, sitka tops, first lite baselayers and glassing mitts.

I don't really worry about patterns matching. I have Sitka pants and tops, but will mix with my Kuiu pants (which I prefer). Really doesn't seem to matter.

The first lite 308 pants and their merino base layers are top notch
I'll give them a look, I feel like I'm always struggling to find decent pants. I've heard things about the cheap tractor supply pants/the cheap wranglers.

I have done it for years turkey hunting when sitting on the ground against a tree. I like a browner colored pants to match the leaves on the ground and a more gray top to more match the color of the tree bark.

Take a minute to hang your clothes out in vegetation similar to where you hunt. Start walking away from it and look back. Take photos, black & white or sepia as well. It will give you a good idea of what animals see.

We tend to put way to much emphasis on our Camo these days. Shame on the hunting industry. I like to mix my camo up to interfere with my human outline primarily solid bottom and a camo top.

Playing the wind and remaining still is much more important to me than what pattern I'm wearing. I also care more about comfort than pattern.

I do also have the wrangler technician rip stop work wear pants, they are light and work well. The wrangler atg pants are super light weight, breathable but do get snagged on stuff and briars can poke through

I actually try to avoid to match too much, it looks goofy. Different camo pattern breaks your outline better. I'll wear Cabelas pants which I think are in Strata with a Kuiu Verde jacket, my bino harness is a FHF in a Fist Lite pattern, my gaiters are multicam and my ball hat is in the camo flavor of the day.
