Missouri Backcountry Hunters and Anglers

I'm wanting to start a Missouri chapter for the BHA and was wondering if any of you fellow Show Me Roksliders had any interest or information on getting the ball rolling. I'm located in Springfield and would like to talk with anyone who is interested or may be able to help get this thing started. I'm waiting on some info from BHA headquarters now and will let you know what I come up with.

I think there are a lot of MO folks on here. I just joined BHA this year and would be interested in what you hear back from BHA. I bet a lot of folks never look in this subforum!

I talked to them on the phone the other day. It looks like we are going to need 100+ names on the bha roster to receive a charter.

I emailed TY. He said there was a lot of interest and that he would put my name on the Missouri list. It would be interesting to know how many is on the Missouri list.

There might be value in BHA or Ty getting wind of this thread. Again, I'm guessing the reason we don't have more MO people chiming in here is because they just haven't seen the thread!
