Missed Op - Cougar

I found 200 yards of drag marks that ended with this spike elk. I couldn't sit on it so I called a friend who had to run home and grab a rifle. He had a washing machine disaster and couldn't get out till morning. He told me he couldn't find the elk. The reason is in the second photo.

The cougar came back a couple hours after I left the area and a trailcam in a tree. Wished I would have been able to sit there! In a week he'll be hungry again and after my elk. I might try calling him in.

I have some similar pictures from an elk that we found. It was a long way from home and I wasn't able to get off work to go sit on it.

Awesome. I would go sit on it. I bet he will be back. He may be on it for awhile. Had a bull get elk get killed last year by my house. Put trail cam on it. The lion ate on the elk for 2 weeks. Got 2 weeks worth of video and pics. The season had closed otherwise we would have hunted it
