Military PCU gear

Hello,

Wondering if anyone here is using PCU gear in the field. I was lucky enough to get some issued to me and didn't realize its the Patagonia stuff and have lvl 4 and up. Wondering how this stuff will perform out in the elements. Granted it was designed to be used in harsh environments but most issued gear is designed to keep you alive but not exactly comfortable.

Ill be in northern CO 1st rifle .

If they would’ve let me keep my PCU’s I wouldn’t wear anything else.

I’ve been curious about this myself. Been wondering other than weight if there is much of a difference from dedicated hunting brands in performance.

I have no experience with sitka or other upper tier brands but its seems like the PCU is loud but for rifle hunting might not be an issue. Going to give it a try and pack it and see how it does. It is patagucci so should be GTG, Im mainly using the rain gear.
