Mid range boots

Hi all. I’m looking for new boots. Kind of in between my current. Salomon x ultra mid 3. Which is fine for day hiking, camping. Maybe dove hunting. Not quite stiff enough for chasing quail and chukar around southern Nevada and Arizona. And my other pair. Lathrop and sons mountain hunter They are a bit to stiff for upland around here. Both of those boots are size 12. I’m fine in both, except maybe a bit of heel slip in the lathrops when not backpacking Any recommendations for soles that are a bit less stiff that the L&S, and stiffer than the Salomon’s. I will add. The Salomon’s are a bit narrow for me. And that my work boots. Are thorogood 11 1/2 d. And they fit perfectly after a couple weeks. Thanks all. For the recommendations.
