I'm looking to get a system that can get me through 30-40 degree weather with minimal layers. I run pretty cold so I usually have to use several layers. For reference, in 50°F I usually run my Kuiu Kenai over a Peloton 240 and for the bottoms I would use my first lite Kiln bottoms under my Kuiu Pro pants. When the temperatures start to drop into the lower 40s and 30s I will start to get cold in this setup, especially when the wind picks up. I would like to get something that's going to be wind proof (or at least close to it), easy to move in, quite, and obviously warm. So far I'm looking at code of silence zone 7, kuiu proximity, Cabela's stand hunter, Pnuma's fleeced outerwear, or any other recommendations. I've eliminated First Lite and Sitka because I feel like their prices are too high compared to the other options on the market. Obviously I know this comes down to personal preference, but I would appreciate any input on the mentioned systems or any recommendations.

Ive heard that the Kuiu Proximity fits tight in the forearms and the outer layer is very fragile making it a poor piece to wear walking through the whitetail woods.

Im in the same boat as you and am interested in the Code of Silence. They seem to be directly comparable to Sitka Stratus and Fanatic. Hopefully someone chimes in with personal experience.

Good to know about the proximity! I really like that Code of Silence uses wool in all of their pieces. Maybe it would be more durable than the Kuiu.
