Anyone have anything good or bad to say bout the Mesa Precision Arms Actions?

I am going back and forth on how I am going to put together a 22 creedmoor...My original plan was to rechamber a tikka 22/250, but now I am thinking I would maybe consider spending some more money and putting together a rifle.

I am not on board with dropping $15-1600 for a defiance action. Looked at Stiller and reviews seemed mixed. Then I stumbled upon the mesa. Is it worth 1k?

A gunsmith I've used said they're okay, but nothing to write home about. If you're set on a 700 footprint in that price range the Pierce shadow is a much nicer action. But I would suggest buying a prefit or having a smith spin up a blank for that Tikka action so you don't have to worry about trigger issues. I have a PBB 25 creed barrel in a Tikka action that is my tightest shooting rifle.

Be interesting to see if the creed feeds alright from the long action. Even with heavies a creed easily fits in a short action

I was wondering the same thing! Maybe a LA to SA mag adapter of some sort?
