Meopta still in business?

Meopta has a lot of stuff sold out on their site, has anyone done business with them recently? I’m curious about their Meopta optika 5/6 for hunting.

Nothing confirmed, however, I spoke with Meopta about backorders this morning and they feel end of July early August all backorders will be filled

I was hoping everything being sold out meant they were getting to release an update. If they updated the optika 6 line to have locking windage turrets I would buy one.

We have a meeting with Meopta at SHOT in a few weeks. They are supposed to be opening another facility here in the USA shortly. We will get the details and include it in our SHOT Show daily report

Thanks for the info, I’ve been impressed with the meopta optics but I do have to say I miss the simple meopro line.

I’ve tried to reach out to customer service for service on my meopta meopro LR. Crickets. It’s been a few weeks. I’ll get through the holidays then try again I guess.

Meopta closed their USA office back in September. They are saying they'll have a new USA facility by late Spring. At this time all warranty and repair work needs to go through the Czech Republic. Until they reopen here in the USA we will not bring in their new products.

@gr8fuldoug , is that because there is difficulty in acquiring their products or because there is too much uncertainty around them and their USA facilities? Thanks

It's because, until they reopen here in the USA we are unable to offer the high level of customer service on their products that we pride ourselves on
