Meindl USA vs Crispi

Looking to pick up some new boots, have an old pair of Meindl by Cabelas that have suited me well over the last 10 years. Looking at early season so the 800G insulation in my old boots arent going to work. Has anyone has experience with the newer Meindl that they are puttin out?

Looking at Crispi as on option...seen all the review and they look good, cant find any recent reviews on Meindl.

No experience with the new Meindls, but have worn the Perfekt Hunters over the last 10 years and recently tried on the Crispi Colorado's. If you like the generous toebox of the Meindls, you might have to go up to a Wide in the Crispis. I wear 11 1/2 Perfekt Hunters and a 12 street shoe, and the 12 and 12 1/2 Crispi Colorados were both too narrow for me. Putting the boots heel to heel, the Meindls have about an 1/8" more width to them than the Colorados. Most people say that they are able to wear the same Crispi size as everything else, but I think I have a bigger toe width despite measuring as a D width.

Thanks I think I will take your advice and order a couple pairs of Crispis and see what fits best. The bigger toe box is the reason I love my Meindls so much so it good to know I may be on par with the boots from Italy.

I have a pair of 400g Perfekts that are 3 or 4 years old that I really like. They aren't too hot for early season, but are surprisingly warm in the cold weather.

I finally gave up on my Kennetek. After two pair and every insert you can imagine, I gave up...I went back to the Miendl. Just bought the Comfort Fit Extreeme. Fingers are crossed as I have one year to get my feet sorted out for my NWT sheep hunt! I'll post a review after I put a month of hiking on them.

I had the Miendls and swapped to crispi. Granted I had many miles on the Miendls but I fee like the crispi is more comfortable. I found the crispi true to size.
