Saw this on Facebook. Not sure if that means it will start there and then be available on other platforms or if it means will only be on their site. Interesting that they are leaning away from Netflix.

TBH i am still a little grumpy about paying over $100 for their first few seasons on that VHX video player platform that seems to have been cooked up by a group of NASA scientist to specifically crash my ipad.

I saw on Netflix it says you can stream the shows until oct 1. Looks like YouTube is out paying/pacing Netflix.

Wish they'd do an app like Newberg did. I'd pay to have all the content in one spot, especially as user friendly as the Fresh Track + platform is on my FireTV and phone.

Billy is awesome, love his stuff.
I actually did a search on this forum after I wrote that. He's a rokslider and I'll be dammed he's been a member for 12 years. Blown away haha. I been telling all my buddies about him and his YT channel. He's more known than I thought. I found his YT watching some of my other hunting shows.

Looks to be free....

Netflix is out. Youtube is in. I'm personally glad and would like to see them move away from Youtube, but I don't like the idea of "signing up" to allow for more targeted ads. @ODB is right. WE are the product that they will sell to advertisers. It's how all media works nowadays.

$100?

I seen him fish, someone shot a deer, spear fishing for panfish, and he gut shot a goat in Hawaii. Netflix had a couple seasons and i watched 4 shows.

Check netflix…

Before they hit Netflix, they released the first 6 or 8 seasons on an off the run video platform called VHX. I assume he was able cut a better deal with them than iTunes, which charges 30-50% from what I gather. Seasons were like $15 or $20 each. I bought 6 seasons. The app player kind of sucked, especially if you wanted to download the content to view when you didn’t have good Wi-Fi. VHX was bought by Vimeo a few years ago and the app still works…about as well as it ever did, but who knows for how long.

I have written Ole Cal several stern emails about this but have not heard back Yet. I am beginning to think he is ducking me.

Meat-eater is okay but...check out a cat named Billy Molls. I've never heard of him until a month ago. He's a guide up in Alaska and release about two decades of hunting footage.
I've watched Billy for a while. My girlfriend even watches his stuff with me. I have talked to Billy on the phone and he is the same person as in his videos.
