This is gonna sound all tin foil hat ish but all the people saying Rinella could help change the mind of the anti’s and befriending them to get them on our side but who’s to say that’s not a tactic the antis are using. Considering that Weatherby just jumped in whole hog with BHA (check social media for the snow goose hunts, etc., and a bunch of BHAers all touting Weatherby), the picture becomes far more clear. As does that Missoula connection.

Not all liberals are anti-hunting, common misconception. I’m a republican but work with many liberals all that are ok with hunting, really they could careless about it but like to hear about my annual trips to the wilderness. Also another misconception, not all liberals are anti-2A, I know mind blown.

The problem I see is us turning the individuals that don’t really care about hunting or guns away because we put them all in a box based on politics. Not all liberals are progressive, socialist crazies some want to paint them as, some are open minded and will hear your opinion out as long as your willing to hear them out. Education is key on conservation and firearm safety.

Great post.

I try to have this conversation with non-hunters at every opportunity that presents itself. It usually goes well.

I will also have a similar conversation with anti-hunters, but it is not as successful. Thankfully true anti-hunters are pretty rare, especially in my area.

It will be hard to preserve our hunting heritage without the support of the middle.

Anti hunters are moving to your area in droves though. Pretty soon you won't have to go far to find one lol
