McMillan Mountain Tracker LR - Tikka T3 Dev Project

Bumping this as I’m thinking about ordering one or two.
Will be for a 6cm with pbb lite hybrid and a 223 with a lite barrel and og6 .
Any suggestions on things you would do differently.
Will do carbon fiber, black paint, edge fill, tikka bottom. Not sure about barrel channel,
I had mine set with a Redsnake tactical. 0 issues. And in fact they inlet for that dbm now. If your plan is to use for comps id highly recommend that.

No comps and only hunting but definitely want to do it once.
Keep hearing something is coming from unknown as far as bottom metal and mags.
I use factory mags and mambas in my 223.
Haven’t got my 6cm action and barrel back yet, should have it in 4-6 weeks.

I went with a wide cut barrel channel even though I have a Tikka factory sporter barrel. I'd probably do the same again just for options.

I have the Tikka bottom metal. I swap this stock between a 6.5PRC, 223, and 22lr. At least for the 22lr, I don't think I could do that with anything but the Tikka bottom metal.

I went for all of the fancy options. If I were doing it over I might forego the molded in color. It looks good, but it's an extra cost and 2-3oz extra in weight. I have a buddy who got the painted camo option and it looks great.

Overall I'm very happy with it. I haven't shot the Rokstock, but with many of the same defining features I can definitely feel the reduction in recoil.

I also went with a carbon6 sendero cut out which can basically fit almost all barrels except for the giant heavies. I loved the stock but I sold it on here and bought a foundation Ezekiel. Not steering you away but those stocks are top top tier
