Thanks for the welcome. I don't sell Sky Rover binoculars. They need to be purchased from their website.

I know but when they pick you up as a salesman for your glowing reviews you'll already have a good account at rokslide.

I had the B2 9X45, they were pretty good, but when the time came to sell them I was surprised that the resale was so low. I paid close to $1200 for them, they weren't stock, the best offer I got was $600

Update- after three months waiting from the date I sent in 4 Maven B series bins in for warranty, I've received 3 out of the 4 of them back so far including the 2 that needed to be sent in twice due to still unacceptably amounts of excessive dust on the insides of their lenses.

All of them still have dust inside their lenses which Maven either could not or would not clean dud to them previously admitting to me they don't even have the ability nor the facility to even refill the nitrogen if they open them up and if the excessive amounts of dust inside their brand of binoculars don't affect the performance they'll just send them right back to me unserviced which they obviously followed through twice already even after I sent two back due to still excessive amounts if dust inside which really looks like they still have the same excessive amounts of dust inside while one of them still has plenty of dust inside one barrel and other side not as much which is very noticeable. Looks like they actually tried to clean one side but not the other side but the cleaner side still have plenty of dust which Maven flat out told me that with their brand of binoculars it's totally normal to have varying degrees of dust inside their lenses which does not affect performance.

They even charged me $100.00 to refurbish a B2 11x45 that still have noticeable dust inside both side barrels' lenses.

They also seem to have an issue with me buying used Maven binoculars and made me really feel like they treated me like a second rate citizen by several of the women answering their phones.

What really bothers me is it appears as though they followed through on not servicing/cleaning the two other B series the second time to avoid having to clean or flat out unable or unwilling to clean out the dust on their inside lenses and I think they just put them on their shelf for another month and a half and did nothing the entire second time I sent them in due to the excessive amounts of dust still inside.

I've been used to SIG and Vortex warranty with their eight day to two week total turnaround time including counting the number of round trip shipping days plus they always send prepaid return shipping labels so I'm never having to pay out of pocket to ship with insurance for warranty and if there's even just one spec of dust they'll clean or send brand new replacement no questions and they're made at the same factory as Maven B Series. Vortex cleaned many of my Razor HDs and UHDs including totally refurbishing reskinning and replacing all lenses a d refilling Aargon gas on several of mine totally for FREE while Maven charged me $100.00 to do ONE that still have obvious dust insude.

For the record, I own 7 Maven B series all say JAPAN on them next to their serial numbers and 1 C series which says Philippines and ALL of them have dust inside their lenses not a single one is completely dust free.

They remind me of buying Myanmar made Vanguard brand binoculars in which NONE are completely dust free.

I have never heard anybody with a similar story to yers. Not calling u a liar by any means but I have had completely the opposite dealings with them as u have. I have owned many different binos from them, all used except one. They didn’t care and were extremely quick the two times I sent binos in and their communication was extremely fast.

Same for me. I had a pair of 11x B2’s that I bought used that had the rubber on one of the eyecups separating. I called them up and spoke with Sarah, told her what was going on, that I bought them used, and asked if I could buy an eyecup. She proceeded to send me 2 brand new replacements on a 2 day order, no questions asked. They are top notch, one of the best to deal with bar none.

I have personally had a totally opposite experience sending in two B series then another two B series less than a week later. My major pet peeve is the excessive amounts of noticeable dust on the insides of their lenses. I also asked if they could send replacement lens covers for all of the broken ones I have and was told they can be purchased from their website. I have received totally free lens covers from Vortex Vanguard Leupold among many many other companies and replacement cases too all at no charge. I even asked their tech I he could at least include replacement lens covers for the four I sent in for warranty which he did agree to but the three I recently received had no lens covers.

What really bothers me is they don't have the ability or just maybe unwilling to clean the dust out of any of my Maven binoculars nor the ability to even refill the nitrogen.

I even asked Vortex if I could send these Maven bins to then and I'll pay them to clean them but they told me they don't work on other companys' brands of optics.

If you despise Mavens so much, why do you keep buying Mavens?

Getting back into hunting after some years away. Tried a number of brands and seemed like I had to spend more money to get the same quality for my eyes. I have a C and B series bino, a spotter and rangefinder. Build quality is good, optics are excellent for me and customer service has been excellent. Someone mentioned slow responses and issues. I had the exact opposite experience. Sent something in and had it back in my hands within 10 days.

I didn't despise Maven until after the fact regarding their warranty and service.

So did you buy all 7 Mavens at once and discover they all had dust inside? Then got frustrated with how they handled warranty and service?

Wouldn't make much sense (to me) to buy a couple here and there, find dust inside them, send for repair and get frustrated with how they handled it, then continue to buy from the same brand. Just trying to get the full picture here.

@OneH ,
Seems to me like you have a bone to pick with Maven. You’ve already been banned once. You push Chinese knockoffs, then come around trashing Maven. Your story seems off or something. Like @Samson7x said, why did you keep buying them if they have dust inside? You don’t make sense.

I don't know of many folks that have had to use their warranty, but I haven't heard any story like that from anyone. Everything I hear and the experience I had was extremely good communication and turn around. Seems like one of those can't please everyone kind of things and unrealistic expectation. Regardless, my next optics purchase will be Maven.

I haven't had to use any warranty but my Mavens (B6 12x50) have worked great, I don't have any noticeable dust in mine.
I think if you're looking at the 1000 range, Maven is pretty good. I came from Vortex and it was between the Razor, Maven and Leupold. I went with Maven because of price and wanting the 12x50.

Maven's customer service is A+. I had a CRF.1 that had a software glitch. They gave me the option to replace it with another CRF.1 or upgrade at no cost to the RF.1. I had a RF.1 three days later.

Had Mavens B2 before I bought Swaro's. My buddies have Mavens B1.2 and B3. Good thoughts all around, but unlike others in this thread, haven't had to deal with Customer Service to YMMV

I have 3 pair. The cheep C.1 in 8x42 & 10x42 smoked my Leupold BX4 for a few hundred less. I dont glass a ton and dont have a need for really high end glass...so Maven has been a great value for me. I have some B6 12x50 also.
