An alternative is a spot of electrical tape inside the turret to tighten it up.

My other scope has had this tape inside for about a year now. I've removed the turret a dozen or so times and the tape hasn't moved or peeled off.

Ah I see. Appreciate the link. I was thinking it was people wrapping the knurling with tape to be less aggressive.
