A few times it has moved .1-.2 mil on me. However it would not affect a close range shot. And anything I need to dial I easily correct it. Not a big deal to most.. in saying that since @Bluumoon was so gracias to help me acquire a few orings I did change it. Marginal upgrade but may be worth it in the long run. Took me less than a minute.

Mine has been used as the front line to bust brush in a thick swamp for multiple whitetail seasons now which includes dragging it out of an hanging FHF Rifle case in my back seat probably 500 times. It has also been dragged all around Wyoming on a couple Muley hunts with it strapped to the outside of my pack pushing through brush.

I have yet to have my first occurrence of a turret spinning. Maybe I got a good one but mine is not anywhere near what I’d call easy to spin.

It does have the parallax knob that is making my left forearm grow though.

Yeah I've busted alders, slid down a mountain, and moved through woods thick enough you have to literally weave between branches and not had it turn either on the pack or slung. Same with ridding uncased in vehicles (on the seat, on the floorboard, Etc) and uncased in boats.

I haven't had it move. I usually check anyways in case I left it off or just routine anyways. Don't see how it could hurt to stiffen it up a little bit.

I cant say I ever had an issue with just electrical tape either, and that was quite a bit less stiff than the Oring

ETA I only carry that rifle like 20 days a year. Not a massive sample size

Pinch it up. Place one finger at 9 o'clock and one at about 2 o'clock, then slide your fingers towards each other and you will end up with loose O-ring you can grab.

No spinning on mine but I’ll keep a closer eye on it moving forward. I’ve used it pretty hard strapped to my pack and on a sling with no issues. I walk around with a half mil already set, maybe that helps (lol).

I just installed mine tonight. No mushiness, I still get good audible and tactile clicks, but it is definitely stiffer. I expect this will make a very positive difference. I’ll be field testing it during bear season in about 10 weeks.

I've had my RS1.2 for about a year now. In my truck, the gun typically rides behind/inside my backseat which is folded up. While hunting it is carried in a Kifaru gun bearer.

In the time that I've had it, I shot three NRL matches, numerous range trips, hunted three states, including four flights on commercial or float planes.

I had the elevation turret move a click or two one time. It does spin pretty easily, but I haven't found it to be a major issue.

I think there has to be some variance between scopes. My parallax adjustment is not stiff at all like a lot of people's here. My elevation turret "loose" when compared to all my NFs, Trijicons, and SWFAs. That on top of the knurling, I could see it being an issue.

I did what Marbles did. 2 fingers squeeze will push out a lip of the ring you can grab and then pull over the top.

Of the RS1.2s that I've been around that are "doing it" it's primarily from sling-less carry and then less so but still a thing is contact during movements made during positional shooting under time and stress...or hunting.

Same. Mine has only moved once and that was when I bombed down off the side of a pretty step ridgeface through some nasty rock scree and oakbrush. In hindsight probably should have found a way around. Was suprised when I looked at it and noticed it was off by about .3mil. Honeslty didnt think much about it, reset and moved on.
