Maven Optics

So I'm looking for some new optics. I e considered a decent spotter and bino setup as well as a higher end larger set of binos only. I'm looking into the Maven B4 vs. B5 15x56. I've looked at their chart, and they are virtually identical across the board in nearly every category except the B5 are magnesium and weigh about 3 oz less than the B4 which are polymer. There's about a $400 difference in price (B4 is less).

Although weight is an overall consideration, I'd still weigh less with a decent bino/tripod setup vs spotter/tri/bino.

Is there any reason to go with the B5 over the B4? Am I missing something? Yes I would likely only use one set of binos.

I had the chance to look through both of them at a sportsman’s show and the B5’s are far more ergonomic than the B4’s. The eye caps on the B4’s do not work for my face well. They rubbed uncomfortably on the bridge of my nose and inside of the bridge near my eyes. I had none of these problems with the B5’s. The B5’s were also easier to hold. I also felt like colors and glass were a little better on the B5’s. I’m probably going to pull the trigger on a pair of B5’s.
