Maven cs1 spotting scope bundle

Ok I'm just about sold on picking up a maven cs1 spotting scope. I've never owned one but for range shooting and just general wildlife viewing and the occasional hunting opportunity I think this one will fit the bill nicely and not break the bank. My question is whether anyone has experience with the bundle the offer? Is the tripod and head unit worth the extra cost, or am I going to regret it and end up wanting something better? I don't need any more crap collecting dust in the corner so if I'm going to immediately want to upgrade then I'll just pick up the scope.

It’s heavy but plenty stable enough for the spotter. I think it’s like 6 pounds. You might find that too heavy for hunting, but it will be fine for the other uses

Thank you for the response. Weight wasn't much of a concern to me. Just general overall quality. 99% of the time this will be used on a range or in eyesight of a road or trail for general viewing.
