Exactly why I don't want to go shoot the VXR. I just bought a Vertix. Idk how i would Justify a new bow to the fiance after mine is not even a year old to me.
Exactly how I felt about my RX-1, and yet, here I am with a new one...

The basic geometry of Matthews' risers hasn't changed in quite a few years.
I'm glad someone else is being objective and see's this. Go over to archerytalk and say that... The boys over there will come unhinged. Its to the point now that I've resorted to trolling them with memes over the hysteria that VXR is complete different from the Halon's, Vertix's, etc. Come on now... lol

What did you choose? another Prime?I haven’t owned a Mathews since the Z7. I’ve owned 4 Primes since and never touched a Mathews because of the marketing crap. I shot the Prime Black 5, Bowtech Revolt x, a new Hoyt and the VXR 31.5 yesterday. My Prime CT 3 is now going up for sale, Mathews VXR 31.5 is a great shooting bow, and I resisted the hype from the shop owner about it. I will also say the Bowtech was very nice as well.
I didn’t buy yet, but it will be a VXR most likely. What did you choose? another Prime?
