Mathews Switchweight Mods Shooting Heavy?

I recently got a Mathews Vertix with the switchweight mods and was reading about the modules and have noticed that many people report the modules shoot 3-4 pounds heavier than advertised. I’m not worried about shooting too heavy and obviously you can adjust the limb screw but I was just wondering if this is true so I know exactly what to expect. Thanks!

A lot of bows with their limb bolts bottomed out will pull a few pounds over spec. I've seen as much as 4-5 lbs over.

You can change the weight by twisting the cables as well. My 70 lb Vertix is at 71 lbs. I'm pretty sure my 75 lbs mods moved between 75 and 77 when twisting the cables.

My vxr is shooting to spec. But if yours is pulling more, there’s always the advantage of being able to tell people that you’re “shooting hot”, or “running hot”, or “pulling thick”, or something like that.
