Does the SKB have a much higher quality of plastic to them over the Plano? I tried a Plano and it was junk. I wouldn't have trusted my bow in it in the back of the truck.

Plano makes a high end case, much like the SKB, and not all SKB are the high end plastic either. I had some older SKB that aren't the Same as the i series, and wouldn't surprise me if all the i series aren't the same either. Need to check the actual impact rating.

I have a Plano gun case I'd hook and drag behind my truck for a ways with reasonable trust.

I accidentally did that experiment with the Milwaukee packout boxes too. There limit is around 2 miles at 60mph on pavement, FYI.
