We have heard the rumors about a new cam, new colors, with a little more speed. About 1 week ahead of the release- what have you guys heard? There are some competitive bows other companies put out this year- will Mathews be a top contender again? What do they need to produce to get your nod?

Figured it would be fun to start the conversation and look back once they are released to see how accurate the predictions were. Hunt safe, everyone.

For my nod - I'd like to see them keep getting quieter. The speed of the Lift X is perfectly fine for me. Weight isn't a big deal to me.

A cam tuning system would keep them in the mix for me buying.

If they release a 31" Lift X as rumored, that could finally be my goldilocks whitetail bow from Mathews.

I'm excited to see all the new releases. PSE came out swinging with their new speed cams.

Most Mathews rumors turn out to be incorrect. Mathews seems to keep a very tight lid on things. I have seen a few posts on the internet people claiming a 30 and 34 inch hunting bow. The 34 I don’t see happening. It’ll take away any potential sale of the Title 34.

If I saw a Halon 32-7 2.0 I’d be all over that. The 32 axle to axle is a real possibility but the 7” brace will probably never happen again with them.

I really liked the halon model of 5-6-7 inch brace heights. I sure the 6” sold ten to one over the others but I had a 32-7 and that thing was pretty nice. A newer, lighter less top heavy version would be sweet.

My prediction is they will tell us their new bow is the best ever!!! It will hold better, be more forgiving and less vibration. At the same time no one will actually shoot it any better than any of the bows they have made in the past 10+ years.
