I have the Competition Tarp 2 that is slightly lighter and it is a very nice tarp. This is a good deal if you're looking for a cheap lightweight tarp.

Is it really silnylon? Listing says something different, and it seems dang heavy for silnylon.

You're right it's polyester. The competition tarp that I have is Nylon. My bad. Either way $45 for a lighter weight tarp aint bad if you're willing to sacrifice a little weight.

Try Borah Gear if you want silnylon. Only $49 for the standard color tarp. For an extra $20 I was able to order a multicam camo version. I don't have it yet, but can't beat the price and it's only 7oz!
